The main differences between epoxy and polyaspartic coatings are cure time, UV stability, and flexibility. Epoxy coatings are more affordable but take 3-7 days to fully cure and can yellow when exposed to UV light. Polyaspartic coatings cure in just 24 hours, are completely UV stable (won't yellow), and remain more flexible over time - making them better for Colorado's temperature fluctuations. Polyaspartic is the premium choice for garage floors and areas with sun exposure.

From my experience, polyaspartic is worth the extra cost. I had epoxy in my old house and it started yellowing after 2 years. My new garage has polyaspartic and still looks brand new after 4 years.
